Fire Island Ferries, Uber and Masabi Launch Uber Transit Ticketing for Ferry Riders

Long Island, NY – Uber, Masabi and Fire Island Ferries today announced a partnership that will enable Ferry riders to purchase tickets ahead of time directly in the Uber app. Prior to this partnership, riders would either need to line up and purchase tickets in person, or download Fire Island Ferries’ mobile ticketing app. This partnership allows for more convenient and safer ticket purchasing when reserving Ferry trips.
